SoftballNation Team Registration:
This Week In Softball
2008 Team registration is underway for 2008. We're making a few changes to the website and once these updates are complete, you're going to really like the enhancements.
Here's what's coming: When you get registered, you'll have your own website within Sportsnation.org. This means you'll be able to add your own pictures, states, schedules....whatever you want. It'll be your website.
When it's time to register: Click the registration button over to the left and follow the instructions. We're adding features to this website and by mid-February, you'll have your own website within this site. This means you'll be able to update your team's site with your information as much and as often as you want. That feature is coming, so stay tuned.
SoftballNation Team Registration:
You have found this site by one of two ways. You were directed here through Softballnation.com or you came directly here. This site serves two functions. It is the adminstrative support site for SoftballNation and it serves as a national ranking site for all softball and baseball teams.
Please read this information before proceeding to become a member so that you understand what you're joining. If you want to sanction your team, select the icon to the left or the "Become a Member" button at the top of the page.
2008 Team Insurance: Click the link to the left to get team insurance information. SoftballNation is working with Chappell Insurance to provide our teams with the coverage they need. Click the link to go the Chappell Insurance website. Be sure to indicate that you are a SoftballNation team when purchasing your team insurance.
2008 Team Registration:
You may become a member in two ways. A team membership is how you register your team with SoftballNation. To participate in a SoftballNation sanctioned event, all teams must be registered. To proceed to the sanctioning area, select the "Become a Member" button at the top of this page.
Sanctioning your team with SoftballNation will allow you to participate in SoftballNation sanctioned events. You will also be able to visit the member areas of this site that are only available to members. These areas will be where you'll find your team roster information and your tournament ranking information. Anyone can view the National Rankings. Only member teams may input data for the National Rankings. In the members area, you'll also find more information that is only important to sanctioned teams.
What if SoftballNation is not in my area yet??
You may choose to register your team with SoftballNation even though you may not be participating in any SoftballNation sanctioned events. By registering, even though you may not participate in a sanctioned event, you'll be able to participate in the national ranking system and you'll have access to the members area that will continue to be updated with helpful and educational information related to softball and sports in general. Also, by sanctioning with SoftballNation, your team may be eligible to participate in one of our national events.
The National Ranking System includes all games and tournaments in which a team plays, not just tournaments sanctioned by SoftballNation. This ranking system is a great way to measure your team's success against other teams from your state and around the country.
