The news about SoftballNation is spreading and one of the locations we're spreading to in 2010 is the Roanoke Valley of Virginia.

On March 27th, SoftballNation will be hosting the Roanoke Valley Shootout for Men's Slow Pitch teams at the Botetourt Sports Complex.

If you've never visited this facility, this is the time to do it.  It's a great place to play and the tournament should be a good one.

SoftballNation President Butch Tiller put it this way: "We're very excited that  the teams in Southwestern Virginia will have a chance to experience our program.  We already draw many of those teams to our events and now we're bringing the events to them."

This is just a teaser for the Tournament of Champions that's coming up in October, also scheduled for the Roanoke Valley.

The bonus for this event is that the winning teams will receive a $500 Travel Fund for the SoftballNation Slow Pitch Nationals in Virginia Beach.  That should be a nice draw.

The tournament is open to Men's Silver and Men's Bronze teams.

It's a 4 game format event and the tournament will likely go two days.
