2025 Fast Pitch Nationals

Fast Pitch Nationals Aug 1-3, 2025 Chesterfield, Va

The Fast Pitch Nationals:  Aug 1 - Aug 3.

Friday: Aug 1.  Pool Play Begins.
Saturday: Aug 2. Double Elimination Playoffs Begin.
Sunday: Aug 3.: Playoffs Continue, Champions Crowned.

Age Groups:
10u: Saturday, Sunday
12u, 14u, 16u, 18u, 23u+: Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Qualifying:
Your team must be registered with SoftballNation.  
Teams must also participate with SoftballNation during the 24' Fall season or the 25' Spring/Summer Season.   We will accept 16u, 18u and 23u+ teams directly since they have a shorter season.
Teams from areas that don't have qualifying tournaments may receive a waiver to participate.
We usually have teams from a number of states participate and we expect it to fill up.  Get in Now.

Tournament Notes:

Pool play will begin on Friday for the 12u and above age groups.  For the 10u teams, tournament play will begin on Saturday.

Gift Exchange:  Teams will do a gift exchange with their first game opponent. If there is an odd number of teams, we may assign your team with a team to exchange gifts.   Teams usually come up with some theme for the nationals or a theme idea to represent their team as a gift.    It doesn't have to be extravagant, just something to show a token of sportsmanship.

We plan to have an Opening Ceremonies on Thursday.  More details on that will be posted here.

8u Teams Only: Nationals will be in Harrisonburg, VA Aug 2-3

We urge all teams to enter as early as possible to avoid being left out.  We expect this event to fill up.

Entry Deadline:  
The Entry Deadline (absolute last day to enter if space is available) July 25,
However,  we expect this tournament to fill up early.   
If there is a problem, you will be notified.

Opening Ceremonies: There will be an Opening Ceremonies event scheduled for Thursday evening.  Details to Come.
Gift Exchange: Teams will exchange gifts of sportsmanship with their first  game opponent. The gift should be some token of appreciation and/or sportsmanship to commemorate the event. (15 players)

Competition Level:  A hard question to answer, but we expect to have all levels of competition.  Depending on the number of teams in a division, we may have a Gold or  Silver Playoff (teams advance to Gold or Silver based on pool play results).  That will be determined once we have entries completed.

Refund and Withdrawal Policy:  No team will be considered entered into the tournament until their entry fee is received.  Any team that withdraws from the tournament after July 1st  for any reason will not receive a refund.
Withdrawing from the tournament before July 1st, teams will receive a refund minus a $150 administration fee. 
 
RAIN POLICY:  If inclement weather causes cancellation of the entire tournament before it starts, teams will receive a full refund minus a $200 administration fee. 
If inclement weather causes cancellation while the tournament is in progress, teams will receive a refund as follows:
If a team completes 1 game:  They will receive a 50% refund.
If a team completes 2 games: There is no refund.
Definition of a completed game: The final score of the game has been recorded.

This tournament is sanctioned by SoftballNation.

NO team will be taken without advance payment and an official SoftballNation Roster completed and signed.
