SoftballNation will be moving  the age cutoff date to Aug 31 beginning  in January of 2026.

What this means:   The official 2026 season will run from Sept 1, 2025 to Aug 31, 2026.   So Aug. 31 is the age cutoff date for players and rosters.
Example:  In 2026, the cutoff date is Aug. 31, 2025.   So if a player turns 13 on Sept 2nd, 2025, she is eligible to play 12u for the 2026 season (until Aug. 31, 2026). 

For the remainder of the 2025 calendar year, we will use the Dec. 31st cutoff date as is the rule currently.
